Three weeks before the date of this event, our church building was crushed and lost under the weight of snow and ice on the roof. We had no building in which to worship, and no venue for our women's conference. Still, the Pastors of Calvary Life knew that this conference was part of God's plan. They decided to go forward in faith, knowing that God is not surprised by anything.

Within days, a local pastor called and offered their facility for our conference. Women attended from all over the region, and God's presence was felt in a unique and powerful way. Truly, it would be hard to describe how God moved that day; you simply have to hear it for yourself.

At the time of this writing, it has only been 8 weeks since the collapse, and Calvary Life is in the midst of a whirlwind of rebuilding our Connecticut campus, even as we continue with plans to build a campus in Texas this same year.

The theme of “Victorious Secret” had been chosen long before this crisis hit us. As we have chosen to rise above our natural circumstances and declare His victory, we have seen a mighty move of God, and look forward with expectations for the future.
