In this series, John teaches that while it is important to pray for those under the weight of affliction, it is equally important to pray for those that are successful in life. This is because the weight of glory is heavier than the weight of affliction, and to whom much is given, much more is expected. John explains that as followers of Christ, we must recognize that in this life we will have great trial and affliction. However, it is important to recognize that the trials we face prepare us to withstand affliction and walk with the glory of God on our lives.
